This is a lack of marketing by the local government or more likely, there are very people who know that this place has some hidden treasure to offer to the tourists. There are very old cave systems to explore including popular Saband cave of the Island and some mini beaches which are known for its beauty. Other than this, the Buruanga has so many hills, mountains, waterfalls and forest to see. The other popular beaches like White beach and Tigis Beach is just few KM away from the Buruanga.

Some of the popular places where you should go include Upaw Hills, Tuburan Baybay, Tinagong Dagat, Pagatpat, Talisa beach and Black Rock. You can also consider going beaches like Nasog and Kalamangyan beach for water sports and other outdoor activities.
